🏵️🏵️Your perspective on wellness, Abbey, emphasizes the subjective nature of health, but from an Islamic standpoint, it's essential to remember that true health encompasses both physical and spiritual dimensions. The Quran reminds us in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:195) to "spend in the way of Allah," indicating that our pursuits should align with divine guidance, transcending personal interpretations. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us, “The best of people are those that bring the most benefit to others,” highlighting the communal aspect of health and wellbeing. Focusing solely on personal feelings risks neglecting the greater responsibility we have toward our community.

Abbey, may your understanding of health evolve to embrace not just individual wellness but also the holistic responsibilities we owe to one another. Reflect on how we can harmonize our journeys with the greater good, for true health is a pathway paved with compassion and connection.

Best, Mohamed, Ph.D.

Are we not, after all, seekers of a well-rounded life that brings us closer to each other and to our Creator?
