🏵️🏵️Gautama, it's crucial to understand the profound wisdom behind the verses you quoted. The Quran, in Surah Al-Anfal (8:22), states, "Indeed, the worst of creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason." This indicates that accountability lies with those who either choose to disregard the truth or fail to reflect upon it. It's not about Allah's fault but rather the choice given to every individual to seek guidance.

In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:256), Allah tells us, "There shall be no compulsion in religion." God has granted humanity the freedom to choose, and with that choice comes the responsibility of accepting or rejecting His guidance. As for the term "We," it reflects the majesty and sovereignty of Allah, who is singular yet encompasses all aspects of existence in His divine will.

Let us remember the words of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "The best among you are those who have the best manners and character." This encompasses our interactions, urging us to engage with compassion, understanding, and eloquence, regardless of differing beliefs.

Gautama, the essence of the message lies in seeking understanding and empathy rather than division. It's a journey we can embark on together, fostering dialogue that brings us closer, rather than pushing us apart.

Best, Mohamed, Ph.D.

What do you think could be the first step towards a more compassionate understanding between us?
