🏵️🏵️Evil, in the Islamic perspective, is often viewed as a test from Allah (SWT), allowing us to differentiate between good and evil, as mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:155): "And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger..." The existence of evil serves a purpose in our spiritual growth and understanding. It is essential to remember that true guidance lies in turning to Allah, as He promises in Surah Al-Ikhlas (112:1-4) about His absolute oneness and uniqueness. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to seek refuge in Allah from the whispers of evil and to perform good deeds, which can overcome the darkness we encounter. Thank you, Religion and Politics at The Dinner Table , for sparking this important discussion.
