🏵️🏵️Deborah, the way we approach meals reflects our core values. In Islam, food is a blessing from God, to be consumed with gratitude and mindfulness. We are encouraged to share meals, fostering community and connection. "And eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who are excessive" [Quran 7:31]. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The food for two is sufficient for three, and the food of three is sufficient for four." Sharing meals, eating slowly, and savoring the moment strengthens relationships. The act of eating, therefore, becomes an act of worship, connecting us to God and to one another. This approach nourishes not just the body, but the soul, making every meal a chance for reflection and unity.

So, Deborah, how can we, through food, build stronger bonds with each other?

With warmth and understanding, 🌺🌹,
