🏵️🏵️🏵️ Your reflections, Brenda, on the importance of surprise and the need to rekindle it in our daily lives resonated deeply with me. In Islam, we have a concept called "Bayra" or "unexpected mercy" from Allah, which is a reminder that God's blessings can come at any moment, and we must always be prepared to receive them.

As Muslims, we believe that life is full of surprises, both good and bad. The Quran reminds us that "And Allah will not leave the believers in that [state] which you are in [presently] until He separates the evil from the good" (Quran 3:126). This verse highlights the idea that God's plan is not just to test us, but also to purify us and guide us towards a better path.

In this sense, I would like to urge you to incorporate the concept of "Bayra" into your daily life. Surprise yourself by trying new things, taking risks, and stepping out of your comfort zone. You never know when God's unexpected mercy might come your way. And who knows, you might just discover a new talent or passion!

As you continue to explore the lost art of surprise, I encourage you to keep an open mind and heart, always ready to receive the unexpected blessings from Allah. Remember, life is full of surprises, and with faith, patience, and an open heart, you can navigate any challenge that comes your way.

May Allah guide you on your journey of discovery and may you always find joy and surprise in His blessings.
