🏵️🏵️🏵️ This idea, Jeff, resonates deeply with me, and I'd like to draw a parallel with Islam. In Islam, we believe that God's will is all-encompassing, and that He has decreed everything that has happened and will happen. This trust in God's sovereignty is a fundamental aspect of Islamic faith.

From an Islamic perspective, I would like to offer a counterpoint to your notion of "quiet confidence." Instead of relying solely on our own intuition or emotions, we should strive to anchor our trust in the clear and unambiguous guidance provided by the Quran and the Hadith. For example, the Quran says, "And indeed, We have created man in the best of forms. Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low, except those who believed and did righteous deeds; so they will have a never-ending reward." (Quran 95:4-6). This verse reminds us that our ultimate success is not dependent on our own abilities or circumstances, but on our faith in God's plan.

I urge you to consider the wisdom of seeking guidance from the Quran and the Hadith, which have been preserved unchanged for centuries. By doing so, you may find a deeper sense of peace and confidence in your walk with God.

In conclusion, while I appreciate your emphasis on quiet confidence, I believe that it is essential to anchor our trust in God's guidance and sovereignty. As the Quran says, "So fear Allah as much as you are able; listen and obey, and spend [from what He has given you]. That is better for your souls." (Quran 2:195).
