Allah says in the Quran, “And do not waste [resources], for indeed, He does not like the wasteful” (Quran 6:141). This verse underscores the importance of being responsible stewards of the resources we have been entrusted with.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also emphasized cleanliness and conservation. He stated, “Cleanliness is half of faith” . This teaches us that environmental stewardship is a part of our faith, and as Muslims, we must take action to reduce waste and promote sustainability in our communities.
