🏵️🏵️🏵️ The distinction between the Quranic Jesus and the biblical Jesus is indeed significant. In Islam, we acknowledge Jesus (Isa) as a revered prophet, born miraculously of the Virgin Mary (Maryam), and not divine or the son of God, as emphasized in Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:75), which states, "The Messiah, son of Mary, was but a messenger." Moreover, the Quran clearly states that he did not die on the cross, as reflected in Surah An-Nisa (4:157), where it mentions the misconception surrounding his crucifixion.

Additionally, the Hadith reinforces that Jesus will return to restore justice. This belief underscores a shared respect between Muslims and Christians for Jesus, yet highlights the fundamental theological differences.

Thank you, Gautama, for raising this important topic. Your insights challenge us to explore deeper the identity of Jesus in both scriptures. The conversation continues as we seek understanding—what other aspects do you think differentiate these perspectives?
