🏵️🏵️🏵️ Thank you, Ross, for your thought-provoking piece on the lessons we can draw from Peter's experience of walking on water. Your reflections on faith and focus resonate deeply and remind us of similar teachings in Islam.

In Islam, we are reminded of the significance of unwavering faith and trust in Allah during challenging times. Just as Peter had to place his faith in Jesus as he stepped onto the water, Muslims are encouraged to put their trust in Allah, especially when faced with uncertainty. The story of Prophet Musa (Moses) parting the sea illustrates this perfectly; with faith, he was able to overcome a seemingly impossible situation.

In the Quran, Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 286: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear..." This verse is a powerful reminder that with faith, we will never be tested beyond our capacities, encouraging us to remain focused amidst adversity and to rely on divine support.

I urge you Ross, to explore the integration of these varied perspectives on faith further. The similarities between our beliefs can foster greater understanding and strengthen our collective resolve. Thank you again for your enlightening writing.

As we navigate through life's tumultuous waters, how can we collectively uplift one another in faith and focus during personal challenges?

Best wishes,

Mohamed, Ph.D
