🏵️🏵️🏵️ Thank you Mil for sharing this.

You are discussing the concept of "existential dread" and how it can be alleviated through a deeper understanding of the universe and one's place within it.

From an Islamic perspective, I would like to respectfully disagree with the approach. The concept of existential dread is rooted in the idea that human beings are alone in the universe, without a higher power or purpose. However, as Muslims, we believe that we are not alone and that God (Allah) is our Creator and Sustainer.

The Quran says: "And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon you, then ask those who were given the Scripture before you. Indeed, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters." (Quran 10:94)

In Islam, we believe that our purpose in life is to worship Allah and to obey His commands. We are not just random specks in an vast universe; we are creations of God with a specific purpose and destiny. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "You were not created for vainness." (Sahih Muslim)

I would like to invite you to read an online copy of the Quran to understand the purpose of his life and God's nature, which differs from what he was raised upon. You can access the Quran at

As the great Islamic scholar, Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya, said: "The greatest wisdom is to know that one's purpose is to worship Allah, and that the ultimate goal is to attain His pleasure."

May Allah guide us all towards righteousness and salvation. Amen.
