🏵️🏵️🏵️ Thank you, Freddie, for your profound insights. Your reflections resonate deeply with themes found in Islam, particularly the importance of surrounding oneself with righteous company.

In Islam, the concept of companionship is crucial. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "A person is likely to follow the religion of his friend, so look carefully at whom you befriend" (Sunan Abu Dawood). This highlights the significance of choosing friends who uplift us spiritually and morally, as the right companions can lead us towards happiness and fulfillment in both this life and the Hereafter.

I encourage you Freddie, to consider the powerful words of the Quran: “And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands, he will say, ‘Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.’” (Quran 25:27). This verse serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of choosing the right friends who guide us on the path of righteousness.

Your reflections on toxic choices in friendships are a call to action for everyone. We must be intentional in our relationships, distancing ourselves from negativity and seeking out those who inspire us to be better individuals, embodying kindness and compassion.

What if we start to evaluate our friendships through the lens of our values and faith? This could be the first step towards a brighter, more fulfilling life in harmony with the teachings of Islam.
