🏵️🏵️🏵️ Thank you, for your insightful writings that explore the rich tapestry of traditions. Your reflections on the connections to the otherworldly remind me of the Islamic tradition's emphasis on the unseen, particularly in the belief in angels, jinn, and the afterlife. Just as you highlight the significance of embracing the mystery of life and death, Islam encourages us to acknowledge the unseen realities that shape our spiritual journey.

From an Islamic perspective, it’s crucial to remember that while celebrating the richness of various traditions can be enjoyable, we should also uphold our faith's values. Islam teaches us to remember our purpose on this earth and to engage with the world in a way that fosters spiritual growth. As mentioned in the Holy Quran: "O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Shaytan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Shaytan - indeed, he enjoins what is immoral and wrongdoing." (Quran 24:21).

I encourage you to promote gatherings that foster community, spirituality, and reflection on life’s greater meanings, which align with Islamic teachings. These moments can be a beautiful opportunity to engage in wholesome activities that deepen our understanding of faith, love, and mutual respect.

Let us all strive to celebrate the mysteries of existence while grounding our observations in our spiritual principles. How can we together bridge the rich traditions of various cultures with the valuing of our faith?

Warm regards,

Mohamed, Ph.D
