🏵️🏵️🏵️ Thank you, Cedric, for your thought-provoking reflections on the journey of seeking God and understanding one's spiritual path. Your insights resonate deeply with the concept of introspection and the quest for divine presence found in Islam.

In Islam, the journey of spirituality is characterized by both inward reflection and outward action. The Quran emphasizes the importance of knowing oneself to truly know God, as encapsulated in the verse: "And He created you; then He gave you hearing and sight and hearts; but little are you grateful." (Quran 67:23). This verse encourages believers to look within and appreciate the signs of God’s creation within themselves, ultimately leading to a greater understanding of Him.

I urge you to consider the Islamic perspective on seeking God, which is not only about personal introspection but also about communal responsibility and action. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that one's faith is reflected in their actions. The Quran beautifully illustrates this connection: "Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater." (Quran 29:45). It calls us to engage in prayer and remember God in our daily life as a means to experiencing His presence.

Your exploration of God in the inward journey resonates with the Islamic understanding of appreciation, reflection, and action. Let’s engage in further dialogue about how our spiritual journeys align and enrich one another.

What steps do you think we can take together to foster a deeper understanding of these concepts across our faiths?

With appreciation,

Mohamed, Ph.D
