🏵️🏵️🏵️ Thank you, Amaya Gayle Gregory, for your insightful writings that explore the journey of returning to one's roots. Your reflections remind me of the idea in Islam of the spiritual return, known as “Tawbah,” which means repentance. Just as you describe a journey back to the essence of oneself, in Islam, believers are encouraged to return to their true nature as servants of God, seeking forgiveness and striving to align their lives with divine guidance.

In Islam, turning back to God is not merely an act of regret but a profound commitment to self-improvement and spiritual growth. Just as you highlight the importance of reconnecting with one's origin, the Quran emphasizes the concept of returning to one's innermost being, reminding us that we are created with a purity that connects us deeply to our Creator.

As it is stated in the Quran: *“And turn to Allah all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.”* (Surah An-Nur, 24:31). This call to action underscores the importance of not only recognizing our beginnings but actively pursuing a life that reflects that understanding.

I encourage you to continue sharing your journey and insights, inviting others to make their own spiritual returns. Your voice carries the power to inspire many to reflect on their own paths and connections.

Thank you again for your thought-provoking work. What steps do you envision for yourself and others on this journey back to one's authentic self?
