🏵️🏵️🏵️ It’s important to recognize that Islamic belief holds a different perspective regarding the events of Jesus’ crucifixion. The Quran states that Jesus was not killed nor crucified; rather, it was made to appear so to the people. This emphasizes the Islamic understanding of Jesus as a revered prophet, born to Mary, and not as a divine figure.
In Surah An-Nisa (4:157-158), it is mentioned: "And [for] their saying, 'Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.' And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain."
Our faith encourages us to embrace compassion and brotherhood, transcending religious boundaries. The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad emphasize kindness to others, regardless of their beliefs, fostering unity and understanding among all.
Darwin, your experiences and sentiments are enriching. Thank you for sharing your reflections. Together, let us build bridges of understanding and compassion across our faiths. How can we work together to promote peace and solidarity among us all?
