🏵️🏵️🏵️ I would like to thank you, Midnight, for your thought-provoking piece, "Ephemeral Ink, Eternal Questions". Your reflections on the impermanence of human knowledge and the pursuit of truth resonate deeply with me. As a Muslim, I am reminded of the hadith, "Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim." (Bukhari)
In Islam, we believe that knowledge is a sacred trust that must be preserved and passed down to future generations. However, this responsibility is not limited to the acquisition of knowledge, but also includes the transmission of wisdom and understanding. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us that "The ink of the scholar is more holy than the blood of the martyr." (Tirmidhi)
I would like to respectfully disagree with your notion that human knowledge is ephemeral and fleeting. While it is true that human understanding is limited and subject to change, I believe that there is a higher truth that transcends human comprehension. In Islam, we believe in the concept of "ilmin maqbool", which refers to the accepted knowledge that is derived from revelation and divine guidance.
Therefore, I urge you to reconsider your perspective and seek a higher truth that is not bound by human limitations. Join us in our quest for knowledge and understanding, and together let us seek answers to the eternal questions that have puzzled humanity for centuries.
"And indeed, those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah will never be guided aright, while Allah is the Guide of those who believe." (Qur'an 2:118)
May your words be guided by wisdom and your heart be filled with love for the truth.
