🏵️🏵️🏵️ I would like to thank you, Karina, for your insightful writing on the concept of mission and purpose in life. Your article has sparked an interesting discussion on the topic, and I'd like to add my thoughts from an Islamic perspective.

In Islam, the concept of purpose and mission is deeply rooted in the concept of "Risalah" or "Message." The Quran emphasizes that every individual has a role to play in the grand scheme of things, and that each person's mission is to serve as a vicegerent of God (khalifah) on earth. (Quran 2:30)

However, unlike your argument that not everyone may have a specific mission or calling, Islam teaches that every human being has a unique role to play. Each person has a set of talents, strengths, and weaknesses that are specifically designed by God for a particular purpose.

From an Islamic perspective, it is essential to recognize and acknowledge one's unique mission or role in life. This can be achieved through self-reflection, prayer, and seeking guidance from religious scholars. By doing so, individuals can discover their strengths and weaknesses, and align their lives with the divine plan.

Therefore, I urge everyone to take a closer look at their own lives and reflect on their values, passions, and strengths. Ask yourself: What am I good at? What brings me joy? What is my unique contribution to society?

By recognizing and embracing our individual missions, we can live more purposeful and fulfilling lives that are aligned with the will of God. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Verily, every son of Adam has two joys: one is when he does good deeds and is praised for them; the other is when he does evil deeds and is forgiven for them." (Bukhari)

In conclusion, while it is true that not everyone may have a specific mission or calling in the classical sense, Islam teaches that every individual has a unique role to play in the grand scheme of things. By recognizing and embracing our individual missions, we can live more meaningful lives that are aligned with the will of God.
