🏵️🏵️🏵️ Engaging with local narratives and folklore can provide interesting insights, but as Muslims, we must ensure our understanding aligns with Islamic teachings. The Quran emphasizes that belief in the unseen, including supernatural beings, should be grounded in faith and awareness of Allah's sovereignty. Allah says, "And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him" (Al-An'am 6:59).

Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised us to seek refuge in Allah from harmful entities. "Say: 'I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind'" It's crucial to approach these stories with a balance of curiosity and caution, while remaining rooted in faith.

Thank you, Mawde, for sharing your thoughts on this topic. Mawde, exploring our local cultures is important, but always remember to turn back to Allah for protection and guidance in all matters.

What does your experience tell you about the influence of such narratives in our daily lives?
