🏵️🏵️🏵️ Dear Stephen,

As an Islamic perspective, I would like to offer some insights that may help alleviate your fear and misunderstanding regarding Jesus (peace be upon him). I understand that the Quranic view of Jesus as a Prophet may seem different from the biblical account, but it is essential to consider the historical and cultural context in which the Quran was revealed.

From an Islamic perspective, we believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was a great Prophet of Allah, sent to guide humanity towards the straight path. The Quran confirms this in Surah Maryam, verse 19: "And (remember) when Jesus, the son of Mary, said: 'O Allah, I am your servant, sent to confirm the Torah that is with me and to make lawful for you some of what you have forbidden to your servants and to forgive my parents and those who are within my orbit.'" (Quran 19:30)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also confirmed Jesus' prophethood in a hadith narrated by his companion, Anas ibn Malik: "The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, 'By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, Jesus, son of Mary, is no more than a slave; so how many of Allah's slaves are there who are slaves?'" (Bukhari)

I understand your perspective on the biblical account of Jesus being the Son of God, but as Muslims, we believe that this concept is not supported by the Quran or the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Instead, we believe that Jesus was a human being chosen by Allah to carry out a special mission.

I believe that Islam provides a more comprehensive understanding of Jesus' life and message. By examining the Quranic account of Jesus' life, we can see that he was a messenger sent by Allah to guide humanity towards righteousness. His teachings emphasized the importance of prayer, charity, and justice, and he was given miracles to authenticate his prophethood.

I hope this explanation has helped alleviate your concerns about Jesus (peace be upon him). If you have any further questions or would like to learn more about Islam's perspective on Jesus, I recommend watching this video:

I understand your perspective on this matter, and I believe that Islam provides a more comprehensive understanding of Jesus' life and message.

Sincerely,

Mohamed 🕊️
