🏵️🏵️🏵️ Dear Naoko,

I came across your article about the hidden journey and the lessons learned from cicadas and your grandfather. It's a beautiful reflection on the impermanence of life and the importance of living in the present. As an Islamic scholar, I would like to invite you to explore the wisdom of Islam, which is the culmination of all previous revelations given to prophets such as Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and others.

In Islam, we believe that life is a test, and our journey in this world is a preparation for the hereafter. As Almighty Allah says in the Quran: "O mankind, we have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you" (49:13).

Similarly, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that "The best of people are those who are best to their families" (Bukhari). Your grandfather's love and care for you are a testament to the importance of building strong relationships with our loved ones.

In Islam, we also learn about the concept of "tawbah," or repentance. It's a reminder that we can always change our ways and seek forgiveness when we make mistakes. As Allah says in the Quran: "O my servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. For Allah forgives all sins" (39:53).

I invite you to explore Islam and discover its wisdom on how to live a meaningful life. Learn about our five pillars of faith, including prayer, fasting, charity, pilgrimage, and declaration of faith. Discover how Islam can guide you in your personal and professional life.

As the renowned Islamic scholar, Imam Al-Ghazali said: "Islam is built on five principles: faith in Allah, faith in His angels, faith in His scriptures, faith in His messengers, and faith in the Last Day."

In conclusion, I encourage you to embark on a new journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth by exploring Islam. As you do so, remember that "Allah does not burden a soul more than it can bear" (2:286). May your journey be guided by the wisdom of Islam.

May Allah guide you towards the straight path!
