🏵️🏵️🏵️ Dear Mimosa,

I must commend you for sharing your thoughts on your Christian faith being your crutch. As an Islamic perspective, I'd like to respectfully offer an alternative view. In Islam, we believe that faith is not a crutch, but a foundation that guides us towards righteousness and a deeper connection with the divine.

As the Quran states, "And whoever believes in Allah, He will guide his heart." (Quran 16:95) This guidance is not limited to our individual lives but also extends to our relationships with others and the world around us.

In Islam, we don't see faith as something that can be used as a means of escaping our problems or difficulties. Rather, we believe that it's a source of strength and resilience that helps us navigate life's challenges with hope and trust in Allah's plan.

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The strong believer is better and more excellent than the weak believer." (Sahih Muslim) This does not mean that the strong believer is one who uses their faith as a crutch, but rather one who trusts in Allah and has developed inner strength through their devotion to Him.

I understand that your Christian faith is a significant part of your life, and I respect that. However, I'd like to suggest that perhaps we can reframe our understanding of faith as a tool for personal growth and spiritual development rather than a means of escapism.

May Allah guide us all towards a deeper understanding of His message and may we find peace and tranquility in our faith.
