🏵️🏵️🏵️ Dear Deer Worth,
Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, "What if, on the Day of Judgment, I realized that I was too lost by life's distractions, personal bias against Islam and Muslims, misinformation I was raised upon against others for a reason or not, media, people, and responsibilities, and didn't take the time to read or embrace Islam as the final message from God to people?"
The concept of non-violent communication is indeed a valuable tool for building better relationships, but as Muslims, we have a unique perspective on this matter. The Quran teaches us that "O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another" (Quran 49:13). This verse emphasizes the importance of understanding and respecting differences between people.
As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The believer is like a mirror; he shows to his brother the faults of his own self" (Bukhari). This hadith highlights the importance of self-reflection and empathy in our interactions with others.
In Islamic psychology, we learn that our emotions are a natural response to our perceived needs and desires. By acknowledging and expressing these emotions honestly and respectfully, we can foster deeper connections with others. As Allah says in the Quran, "O you who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will" (Quran 4:19), emphasizing the importance of respecting women's autonomy and agency.
In Islamic sociology, we see that community building is crucial for individual growth and well-being. The concept of "ummah" (community) emphasizes our interconnectedness and responsibility towards one another. By embracing our differences and practicing empathy, we can build stronger, more resilient communities.
Islamic philosophy reminds us that our purpose in life is to worship Allah and serve humanity. By cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness through practices such as prayer and meditation, we can align our actions with our values and deepen our relationships with others.
So, I invite you to explore Islam as it is the final message from God to humanity. Read an online copy of the Quran to discover the purpose of life, God's nature, and a different perspective than what we may have been raised upon.

As you embark on this journey of self-discovery and connection with others, remember that "the best of people are those who are most beneficial to others" (Bukhari).
May Allah guide us towards greater understanding, compassion, and harmony.
