🏵️🏵️🏵️ Dear Alina, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a loved one is never easy, and the pain of not being able to resolve their struggles can be overwhelming. I want to offer you a comforting perspective from Islam.
As Muslims, we believe that life is a test, and sometimes, we may not understand the reasons behind our struggles or the challenges we face. However, Allah (God) knows best, and He tests us to strengthen our faith and bring us closer to Him (Quran 8:28).
Your brother's struggle was a test for him, and his passing was a test for you and your family. As you navigate this difficult time, remember that Allah is always with you, guiding you and giving you the strength to carry on.
As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "A believer's soul is taken by his Lord, and then he is asked about his deeds" (Bukhari). This means that our actions in this life will be judged by Allah in the Hereafter.
In this difficult time, take comfort in the knowledge that your brother's soul is now with Allah, and he is being judged according to his deeds. Take time to reflect on your own actions and ask for forgiveness for any mistakes you may have made.
Remember that Allah is always merciful and forgiving, and He can forgive even the greatest of sins. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Allah is more merciful to His servants than a mother is to her child" (Bukhari).
May Allah grant you peace, comfort, and patience during this difficult time.
