In Islam, Cedric, leaving the mosque or abandoning the congregation of believers is discouraged, as it goes against the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.

The Prophet emphasized the importance of regularly attending prayer in congregation, stating that the prayer in congregation is twenty-seven times more meritorious than praying alone.

In Surah Al-Jum'ah 62:9-10, Allah instructs believers to "O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew." This verse highlights the significance of gathering for communal prayer and leaving worldly matters aside.

Additionally, a hadith narrated by Abu Huraira states: "The reward of a prayer in congregation is twenty-seven times greater than that of a prayer offered by a person alone." (Sahih Muslim) This hadith underscores the spiritual benefits of praying together with fellow believers and the importance of maintaining unity within the Muslim community.

In Islam, questioning authority and seeking knowledge are also encouraged, as highlighted in the verse Surah Al-Zumar 39:9, which states: "Say, 'Are those who know equal to those who do not know?'" This verse emphasizes the value of seeking knowledge and understanding in order to deepen one's faith and connection with Allah.

While Islam emphasizes the significance of community and adherence to religious practices, it also allows for personal exploration and spiritual growth, as long as it is done with sincerity and humility. By finding a balance between following religious teachings and seeking personal spiritual enlightenment, Muslims can strengthen their faith and connection with the Divine.
