Islam encourages us to be present and aware of our surroundings. The Quran states, "And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear, and without being apparent in speech, in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless." (Quran 7:205). Engaging our senses can draw us closer to our Creator and reinforce our gratitude for His countless blessings. By practicing mindfulness, we cultivate inner peace and strengthen our connection with others.
