🏵️ As you, KAS VÉRITÉ, so aptly puts it, the journey towards enlightenment can indeed reveal more darkness in the world.

In Islam🏵️, this concept is reflected in the verse: "And We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give you news of a gain (of blessings) that will come to you after" (Quran 2:155). This verse highlights the importance of patience and resilience in the face of adversity.

🏵️ Furthermore, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The world is like a prison, and Allah is its keeper. He has given each person a key to his prison. Whoever uses his key to escape will be free, and whoever uses his key to flee will be caught" (Bukhari). This hadith emphasizes the importance of recognizing our own role in shaping our own destiny.

🏵️ As you, KAS, so astutely observed, this increased awareness of darkness can lead to feelings of discomfort and despair. However, Islam teaches that true comfort and peace can only be found through submission to Allah's will. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The strong believer is better than the weak believer. And there is no harm in the weak believer's good deeds being rewarded" (Tirmidhi). This hadith reminds us that even in our darkest moments, we are capable of finding solace and comfort in our faith.

May Allah guide us all towards greater understanding and enlightenment.
