**Q: What do you think is the purpose of life?**

**A:** As a Muslim, I believe that the purpose of life is to worship Allah (God) and seek His pleasure. The Quran states, “And I have not created the jinn and mankind except to worship Me” (Quran 51:56). Our actions in this life are a test, and our ultimate goal is to please Allah and attain Paradise in the afterlife.

**Q: But what about non-Muslims? Do they also have a purpose in life?**

**A:** Indeed, they do. Many non-Muslims believe that the purpose of life is to find happiness, fulfillment, and personal growth. Others may seek spiritual growth or connection with a higher power. Some may even believe that the purpose of life is to make the most of their time on earth and leave a lasting legacy.

**Q: So, is there a difference between the purposes of life for Muslims and non-Muslims?**

**A:** Yes, there is a fundamental difference. Muslims believe that our ultimate goal is to please Allah and attain eternal life in Paradise. Non-Muslims may have different goals, depending on their beliefs and values.

**Q: But what about those who don’t believe in an afterlife? Don’t they also have a purpose in life?**

**A:** That’s a great question! Even those who don’t believe in an afterlife may still have a purpose in life. Perhaps they strive to make a positive impact on the world, or to leave a lasting legacy. Every individual has their own unique values and goals, regardless of their beliefs.

**Q: So, what’s the takeaway from this discussion?**

**A:** The takeaway is that every individual has their own purpose in life, shaped by their beliefs, values, and experiences. As Muslims, we recognize that our purpose is to worship Allah and seek His pleasure. However, we must also respect and acknowledge the diversity of beliefs and purposes among others. By doing so, we can foster greater understanding and harmony among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
