Thank you Tamal for sharing this 🏵️🏵️

In Islam, the belief that souls do not meet by accident is rooted in the concept of qadr or divine destiny. Allah says in the Quran, "Indeed, We have created all things in accordance with a destiny" (54:49). This verse emphasizes that everything in this world is predestined and happens for a reason.

Islam also emphasizes the importance of valuing relationships with those who are placed in our lives. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in a hadith, "A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend" (Abu Dawud). This hadith highlights how important it is to surround ourselves with positive influences and good company.

The concept of soulmates in Islam is also present in the Quran. Allah says, "And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy" (30:21). This verse emphasizes the importance of seeking a spouse who can bring inner peace and joy into our lives.

Furthermore, Islam teaches that every encounter with another human being is an opportunity for personal growth and development. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The believer is friendly and easy to befriend, for there is no goodness in one who is neither friendly nor easy to befriend" (Tirmidhi). This hadith highlights the importance of treating others with kindness and compassion, even when they may not treat us the same way.

In the end, the belief that souls do not meet by accident is an essential principle in Islam. It emphasizes that all experiences and relationships in our lives are part of Allah's plan and are meant to lead us to personal growth. Islam teaches us to value every encounter and to treat others with kindness and compassion, recognizing the importance of positive company and the role of soulmates in our lives.
