In Islam, the concept of salvation and the relationship between faith and good works is different from the Christian perspective described above. 🏵️🏵️🏵️

In Islam, salvation is attained through a combination of faith, good deeds, and the mercy of Allah.

Muslims believe that faith in Allah as the one and only true God, as well as following the teachings and example of Prophet Muhammad, are essential for salvation.

However, faith alone is not sufficient; it must be accompanied by righteous actions and good deeds.

In Islam, salvation is achieved through a combination of faith, good deeds, and the mercy of Allah.

This belief is supported by various verses from the Quran and teachings of Prophet Muhammad in the Hadith.

Quran 2:177 states, "Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves."

This verse highlights the importance of faith in Allah alongside acts of kindness and charity towards others.

Prophet Muhammad also highlighted the significance of good works. In a hadith narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, he said, "The first to be called to Paradise on the Day of Resurrection will be those who praised Allah in prosperity and adversity."

This emphasizes the value of praising Allah and having good conduct in both favorable and challenging circumstances.

Another hadith narrated by Abu Huraira states, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!' It was said, 'Who is that, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'That person whose neighbor is not safe from his evil.'"

This hadith highlights the importance of treating neighbors with kindness and maintaining good relations with them.

These verses and hadith, among others, emphasize that salvation in Islam is not solely dependent on faith but also requires good deeds.

Islam encourages its followers to have faith in Allah, follow the teachings of the Quran and the example of Prophet Muhammad, and engage in acts of kindness, charity, and obedience to Allah's commandments.

By striving for righteousness and performing good deeds, Muslims seek to earn the mercy and grace of Allah for their salvation.
