Sufism has a mystical tradition that incorporates esoteric practices such as astrology, numerology and dream interpretation. 🏵️
Sufis believe that the universe is a manifestation of God's divine attributes, and that everything in the universe is interconnected.
As a result, they see astrology as a means of understanding the divine order of the cosmos, and as a tool for self-discovery and spiritual growth.

Sufi scholars have also interpreted the Quran passages differently than more common Muslim scholars.
They see the heavens as a source of divine guidance and inspiration, and believe that astrology can help individuals gain insight into their spiritual path.
They also view astrology as a form of worship, as it allows individuals to contemplate the celestial beings and understand the hidden meaning behind them.

However, in Islam, the practice of astrology is a controversial topic that has been debated by scholars for centuries.
Some scholars consider astrology to be Haram (forbidden) and contrary to the teachings of Islam, while others believe that it is permissible in certain circumstances.

Those who prohibit the practice of astrology argue that it goes against the Islamic principle of Tawhid (the oneness of God), as it places too much emphasis on the influence of celestial bodies and overlooks the sovereignty of God.

Moreover, they argue that astrology is based on superstition and conjecture rather than empirical evidence, and as such, it is not a reliable source of guidance or knowledge.

On the other hand, some Islamic scholars allow astrology under certain conditions, such as if it is used for medical reasons or in the pursuit of knowledge.
They believe that astrology can be used to better understand the universe and God's creation, but only if it is approached with caution and in accordance with Islamic principles.
