Jake, It seems that there are some misunderstandings that require further explanation. 🏵️🏵️
Islam is an Abrahamic religion founded by the Prophet Muhammad in the 7th century CE. The word "Islam" comes from the Arabic word "salam," which means peace, submission, and surrender.
Thus, Islam is a religion that emphasizes submission and surrender to the will of Allah (God) and attaining peace through this submission.
A Muslim is a person who adheres to the Islamic faith and practices. The word "Muslim" also comes from the same root word as "Islam," meaning one who submits or surrenders to God.
Muslims believe in one God (Allah), and that Muhammad is His final messenger, following in the footsteps of earlier prophets such as Adam, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.
Islamic teachings emphasize a set of ethical and moral values, including honesty, compassion, respect for others, and charity, as well as the importance of prayer, fasting, and pilgrimage to Mecca.

With regards to the assertion that Jesus was a failure as a Muslim and that there are no traces of his "Muslim" followers, Quran 61:14 states, "O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah, as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant."
This verse suggests that there were followers of Jesus who believed in Allah and supported His cause.
The claim that Allah deceived people by making it appear that Jesus was crucified, and in doing so, started Christianity is not supported by Islamic teachings.
Quran 4:157 states, "And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain."
This verse clearly states that Jesus was not crucified and that it was made to appear so to others.
Regarding the claim that the uncorruptible Word of Allah has been corrupted, Quran 15:9 states, "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian."
This verse suggests that Allah has taken responsibility for the preservation of the Qur'an and that it remains uncorrupted. (The same single Quran Arabic copy is available at every corner of the hemisphere)
With regards to the assertion that the Injil has been mistranslated and contains errors, Quran 5:46 states, "And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous."
This verse suggests that the Gospel was given to Jesus as a source of guidance and confirms earlier revealed scriptures.
In addition, Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim emphasize the importance of adhering to the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah (the Prophet's actions and sayings), rather than relying on other sources of knowledge: "I leave among you two things, the Quran and the Sunnah (the Prophet's traditions), if you follow them, you will never go astray" (Sahih al-Bukhari 6095) and "The best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad" (Sahih Muslim 867).
These hadiths further emphasize the centrality and importance of the Quran and the Prophet's teachings in Islamic belief and practice.
