Islam places great emphasis on the importance of caring for the needy and ensuring that they are provided with the basic needs of life. 💥 The Quran states,

"And [they are] those who give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, [saying], 'We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.'" (76:8-9)

This verse emphasizes the idea of giving without expecting anything in return and caring for those who are less fortunate. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also emphasized the importance of giving to charity and caring for others.

In terms of drug abuse, Islam prohibits the consumption of intoxicants, including drugs. The Quran says,

"O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful." (5:90)

Moreover, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,

"Every intoxicant is khamr (wine) and every khamr is haram (forbidden). Whoever drinks khamr in this world will have his throat cut by the angel in charge of it on the Day of Resurrection." (Muslim)

This Hadith emphasizes the severity of consuming intoxicants and its consequences in the Hereafter.

In the end, according to Islam, caring for the needy and avoiding intoxicants are important aspects of creating a just and equitable society. If individuals are rewarded justly and have access to their basic needs, it is less likely for them to turn to drug abuse. By promoting the values and teachings of Islam, one can strive to reduce drug abuse and create a better society for all.
