In Islam, the faith centers on the belief that Allah (swt) is the One and Only Creator and Sustainer of all that exists in the universe. 🏵️🏵️
Allah (swt) is the All-Knowing and All-Powerful, and He has complete control over all things. As stated in the Holy Quran, in Surah Al Hadid 22-23: "No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed, that, for Allah, is easy - in order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful."

In Islam, the concept of "Tawakkul" or reliance upon Allah (swt) is paramount. Muslims must have complete trust in Allah (swt) and recognize that He is in control of all things, as stated in the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Anaam 59: "And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record."

However, the Islamic belief in Allah's (swt) control over all things does not mean that He is responsible for every action and outcome. As stated in the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Kahf 29: "And say, ‘The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Allah (swt) has given humanity the free will to make choices, and each person has personal responsibility and accountability for their actions. As stated in the Holy Quran in Surah At-Takwir 29-30: "And you will not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. And whosoever wills, let him take a way to his Lord."

The Islamic perspective on the phrase "God is in control" emphasizes the importance of recognizing Allah's (swt) ultimate authority and power over all things. Muslims must put their trust in Allah (swt) and recognize that He is in control of all outcomes. As stated in the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Ahzab 3: "And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs." Nevertheless, Muslims must also take personal responsibility for their actions and recognize that they will be accountable for their deeds. As stated in the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (saw): "The ink of the scholar is more sacred than the blood of the martyr."

In the end, the Islamic perspective on the phrase "God is in control" emphasizes the importance of trust, responsibility, and accountability. Muslims must have complete faith in Allah's (swt) authority and wisdom while also recognizing the importance of their actions and intentions. As stated by the Prophet Muhammad (saw), "Actions are according to intentions and everyone will get what was intended."
