In Islam, seeking spirituality and inner peace is considered an essential element of a Muslim's life. Allah (God) is the creator and sustainer of the universe, and Muslims believe that everything in existence serves His purpose. Therefore, Muslims are called to worship Allah alone, submit to His will, and follow His commands.🏵️🏵️

"He who created death and life that He may try you - which of you is better in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving" (Quran 67:2)

In Islam, the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment is encouraged, and knowledge is highly valued. Muslims are encouraged to be open-minded, seek wisdom, and uphold the truth.

"Indeed, Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do" (Quran 58:11)

However, Islam discourages blind faith and warns against following misguided leaders or groups that promote extremism. Muslims are, therefore, encouraged to seek guidance from Allah and follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to ensure they remain on the right path.

"Ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and seek refuge with Allah from knowledge that is of no benefit" (Hadith - Ibn Majah)

The Quran teaches Muslims to seek help through prayer and patience, recognizing that this brings them closer to Allah and helps them find inner peace.

"And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]" (Quran 2:45)

In conclusion, Islam emphasizes the importance of seeking spiritual enlightenment within the boundaries of Islamic teachings and encourages Muslims to seek knowledge from credible sources. Through prayer and patience, Muslims can find inner peace, and by following the teachings of the Quran and the Hadith, they can avoid the traps of extremism and fanaticism.

"O Allah! I seek refuge in you from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard" (Hadith - Bukhari and Muslim)
