In Islam, Luka, the act of intentionally taking one's own life (suicide) is considered a major sin and is strictly forbidden. 🏵️🏵️🏵️

The Quran states in Surah Al-Nisa, verse 29: "And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful."

Muslims believe that human life is a sacred gift from Allah and it is not for anyone to decide when that life should end. In Surah Al-An'am, verse 32, Allah says: "And do not take the life which Allah has made sacred, except by right."

This emphasizes the sanctity of life and the belief that it is solely in the hands of Allah to determine its duration.

Islamic teachings encourage believers to face the trials and challenges of life with patience and reliance on Allah.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in a hadith reported by Bukhari and Muslim: "No person who is afflicted with distress and anxiety and then says, 'Allahumma inni 'abduka ibn 'abdika ibn amatika, naasiyati bi yadika, maadin fiya hukmuka, adlun fiya qada'uka, as'aluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka aw anzaltahu fi kitabika aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilm al-ghayb 'indaka an taj'al al-Qurana rabia qalbi, wa noor sadri, wa jalaa'a huzni, wa thahaba hammi (O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant.

My forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed, and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety).

Allah will relieve the distress of that person and replace it with ease."

Islam encourages believers to seek help, support, and guidance from Allah as well as from their family, friends, and community in times of overwhelming circumstances.

The Quran acknowledges that difficulties and hardships are a part of life, and in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 286, Allah says: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear."

Furthermore, Islam highlights the importance of mental health and well-being.

It encourages seeking professional help, counseling, and support if someone is experiencing feelings of hopelessness, despair, or thoughts of self-harm.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of seeking treatment and said in a hadith reported by Abu Dawood: "Allah has not created a disease except that He has also created its cure."

In summary, Islamic teachings emphasize the sanctity of life, the importance of patience and reliance on Allah, seeking support from others, and seeking professional help in times of distress.

It teaches believers to have gratitude for the blessings of life and reminds them to prepare for the afterlife through good deeds, repentance, and seeking forgiveness. By facing challenges with resilience, faith, and trust in Allah, individuals find purpose, fulfillment, and inner peace.
