In Islam, hypocrisy and religiosity are topics that are addressed in the Quran and Hadith. Hypocrisy, known as "nifaq" in Arabic, is strongly condemned in Islam. 🏵️🏵️
The Quran states, "And when it is said to them, 'Do not cause corruption on the earth,' they say, 'We are but reformers.' Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive it not" (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:11-12).

Furthermore, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned against hypocrisy in numerous hadiths.
He said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays that trust" (Sahih al-Bukhari).
Hypocrisy is considered a spiritual illness that hinders true faith and sincerity in worship.

Religiosity, on the other hand, is a concept that needs to be understood and practiced sincerely. Islam emphasizes the importance of genuine devotion and worship, rather than merely performing rituals without inner transformation.
The Quran states, "O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day" (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:264).

In terms of challenges faced by individuals practicing their faith, Islam acknowledges that there can be external pressures and internal struggles.
The Quran advises believers not to follow societal norms blindly and to remain steadfast in their faith, saying, "And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying" (Surah Al-An'am, 6:116).

Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) acknowledged that within the Muslim community, there may be actions of other individuals that could lead to confusion or disillusionment.
He emphasized the importance of seeking guidance and knowledge, saying, "The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim" (Sunan Ibn Majah).

The solutions presented in the article align with Islamic principles. Strengthening the relationship with God is encouraged through various acts of worship, including prayer, remembrance, and contemplation.
The Quran says, "And establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing" (Surah Al-Ankabut, 29:45).

Additionally, Islam emphasizes the importance of a personal journey and sincerity in worship.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Actions are judged by intentions, and everyone will be rewarded according to their intention" (Sahih al-Bukhari).

Islam also promotes empathy and compassion towards others, regardless of their beliefs or practices.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "None of you has faith until you love for your brother what you love for yourself" (Sahih al-Bukhari).

In the end, Islam addresses the issues of hypocrisy and religiosity, providing guidance and teachings on how to overcome challenges. By following the Quranic verses and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Muslims can work towards sincerity in worship, strengthen their faith, and cultivate compassion and empathy towards others.
