I have listened Gail, to Munther Isaac's message that sheds light on the deep sense of sorrow and anger that many Palestinians feel during the Christmas season as they witness continuous violence and oppression by Israeli forces.

The reference to Christ's presence being "under the rubble" highlights the pain and suffering experienced by Palestinians, especially those living in Gaza, as their homes, schools, and hospitals are destroyed during the bombings.

Isaac's mention of "delayed remorse" reflects the frustration of Palestinians who have seen countless cycles of violence and destruction, followed by international calls for peace and humanitarian aid, but with little meaningful change on the ground. Palestinians have heard promises of peace and justice for decades, only to witness a worsening of their situation, further settlements, and continued military operations.

By canceling Christmas celebrations, Isaac demonstrates a powerful act of solidarity with the people of Gaza.

This decision reflects the somber reality and symbolic solidarity with those who have lost their lives and homes during the violence. It also serves as a reminder that Christmas, a time associated with peace and joy, is marred by ongoing conflict and occupation.

Moreover, the mention of Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank shows how Palestinians experience Israeli aggression in different forms across various regions.

It highlights the interconnectedness of the Palestinian struggle, as both Gaza and the West Bank experience continuous military operations and human rights violations.
