Here are some thoughts 🏵️🏵️👇

While suppressing or avoiding negative emotions is not always healthy, there are situations where it may be necessary. For example, in professional settings, it may not be appropriate to express certain emotions, and suppressing them in the moment can be a necessary skill to maintain professionalism.

While the pressure to always be positive can be harmful, there are some benefits to cultivating positive emotions. Studies have shown that consciously practicing gratitude, kindness, and compassion can contribute to increased well-being and improved mental health.

While it is important to acknowledge and process our own negative emotions, it is also important to consider how they may affect others. Unchecked negative emotions can contribute to conflicts in relationships and harm those around us. Learning healthy ways to communicate and process emotions can help reduce harm to ourselves and others. ⏭️⏩
