Here are some thoughts 🏵️🏵️

- Many people are delaying parenthood due to various reasons such as pursuing career goals, financial stability, and personal choices. Women, in particular, are increasingly entering the workforce and pursuing advanced degrees, which can delay their first pregnancy.
- Attitudes towards marriage and family have also shifted over time. Many people are choosing to remain single or cohabitate instead of getting married. Furthermore, the desire to have many children has also decreased, with many couples choosing to have one or two children instead of larger families.

- The availability and effectiveness of birth control have also contributed to declining fertility rates. As access to birth control has changed, people have greater control over their reproductive choices.
- Economic and high poverty rates, unemployment, and unstable economic conditions can discourage couples from having children. Similarly, social factors such as lack of support for working parents and limited access to childcare can also discourage people from starting families.

- As well, some researchers attributed declining fertility rates to environmental factors such as pollution and exposure to toxins. There is limited research on the long-term effects of environmental exposure on fertility, but some studies suggest there may be a connection.
