Here are some thoughts 🏵️🏵️👇

Climate change is still a topic of debate: While many scientific organizations agree that climate change is happening and is caused by human activities, there are still some who dispute this due to wars, producing weapons, and other industries that affect the world badly. The lack of consensus on climate change hinders efforts to mitigate and adapt to extreme heat events.

While adaptation strategies like air conditioning and urban greening can help reduce the impacts of extreme heat, not all populations have access to these resources. Additionally, implementing these strategies can be costly and require significant resources, particularly for low-income communities and developing nations.

Climate change is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach: Mitigating climate change and reducing the impacts of extreme heat events requires systemic changes to social, economic, lobbies, and political systems. Without addressing root causes such as economic inequality, political corruption, and unsustainable consumption patterns, the health impacts of extreme heat may continue. ⏭️⏩
