Relationships should be based on fairness, not on 100/100 give and take. It is not fair to expect one partner to always be giving more than the other.

The concept of "boundaries": it is important to have boundaries in relationships. It is not healthy to give 100% of yourself to another person, as this can lead to burnout or resentment.

The concept of "ebbs and flows": Relationships are not static.
They ebb and flow over time. There will be times when one partner is giving more than the other, and there will be times when the other partner is giving more.
This is normal and healthy.
