Here are some thoughts from Islam prespective: 💥💥👇

Beliefs are deeply ingrained in our mindsets, and they shape the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us. Sometimes, beliefs can serve as a strong foundation for our actions and decisions. However, there are times when our beliefs can be limiting or even harmful to our mental and emotional well-being.

Changing our beliefs is not an easy task, but it can be essential if we hope to grow and evolve as human beings. The first step towards changing our beliefs is acknowledging the negative impact they may be having on our lives. This may involve exploring past traumas or identifying patterns of negative self-talk.

It’s important to approach this process with self-compassion and kindness towards ourselves. We often hold onto certain beliefs because they were taught to us at a young age or have been reinforced over time. Letting go of these beliefs can be difficult, but it can be necessary to move forward.

Changing our beliefs involves actively challenging them and replacing them with more positive and empowering ones. This can involve seeking out new information, connecting with supportive communities or individuals, and practicing gratitude and mindfulness.

One way to approach this process is to visualize ourselves in a future where we have overcome our limiting beliefs. What does that future look like? What steps can we take today to move towards that future? ⏩

From an Islamic perspective, changing one's beliefs is a necessary part of the spiritual journey. Islam teaches that our beliefs shape our actions and ultimately determine our fate in the afterlife. Therefore, it is crucial to examine our beliefs and ensure that they align with the teachings of Islam.

However, Islam also teaches us to approach this process with gentleness and patience. We are taught to be compassionate towards ourselves and others, and to strive towards positive change with humility and sincerity.

The Quran invites us to constantly reflect on our beliefs and seek guidance from God {Allah} (SWT). Allah (SWT) says in the Quran, "And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me" (Quran 2:186). This highlights the importance of turning to Allah (SWT) in times of doubt or confusion and seeking His guidance.

Furthermore, Islam teaches us to build supportive communities and surround ourselves with those who will encourage us on our journey towards positive change. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The believers, in their mutual love, mercy and compassion, are like a single body; if one part of it feels pain, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever” (Bukhari).

In the end, changing one's beliefs is an important part of our journey. It should be approached with humility, guidance from Allah (SWT) and surrounding oneself with a supportive community. By doing this, we can strive towards spiritual growth and living a life that is pleasing to Allah (SWT). ⏩⏩
