Here are some thoughts from Islam perspective 🏵️🏵️👇

The concept of God (Allah) being between people is reflected in various verses of the Quran and Hadiths. One such verse is Surah Al-An'am, verse 103, which states, "No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things."

This verse highlights the transcendental nature of Allah, and how He is unfathomable by human understanding. However, despite being beyond human comprehension, Allah is still present in everything and over everything. This implies that Allah is present between people, in their relationships, interactions, and connections.

Another Hadith that highlights the idea of God being between people is reported by Abu Hurayrah, who narrated that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Allah is with the group (of people)." This Hadith implies that Allah is present among people who come together with a good intention, and that their unity and harmony is a manifestation of his divine presence.

Furthermore, the concept of Monotheism (Tawhid) in Islam, the belief in the oneness of Allah, also suggests that God is present between people.

The Monotheism (Tawheed) stands as the foundation of the Islamic faith, as it represents the distinctiveness and uniqueness of Allah, and distinguishes Islam from other monotheistic religions. The verse that best summarizes the concept of Tawheed is Surah Al-Ikhlas, which reads:

"Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him." (Quran 112: 1-4)

This verse emphasizes the unity and indivisibility of Allah, who is the one and only true God. It explains that Allah has no partner, no equal, and no beginning or end. He is self-sufficient, and does not need anyone or anything. The verse also highlights the fact that Allah is not physical, and cannot be seen, touched, or experienced through human senses.

In Islamic belief, recognizing the Tawheed is essential for achieving closeness to Allah, and it is the foundation of all good deeds. By acknowledging the Oneness of God, Muslims can remain committed to His commandments and work towards spirituality by living their lives with gratitude, compassion and devotion. Therefore, Tawheed is the ultimate expression of faith in Islam, as it serves to guide Muslims towards a meaningful and purposeful life that is centered on gratitude, compassion, and devotion to Allah.

Muslims believe that Allah is the only true God and that there is no partner or equal to Him. However, this does not mean that Allah is distant or disconnected from his creation. In fact, Muslims believe that Allah is closer to them than their own jugular vein (Surah Qaf, verse 16), and that He is present in everything and everyone (Surah Al-Hadid, verse 4).
