Here are some thoughts from Islam perspective 🏵️🏵️

Joy and happiness are considered essential elements in a believer's life, as per Islamic teachings. Muslims are encouraged to appreciate the blessings bestowed upon them by the Almighty and maintain a positive outlook towards their surroundings. Allah mentions in the Quran, "And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful" (14:34). This verse highlights the idea that Allah has bestowed His love and blessings generously upon humankind, and it is our responsibility to be grateful and maintain a positive outlook.

Similarly, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive approach. He advised his companions to always remain optimistic, thus spreading hope and positivity among others. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "None of you should ever think of doing your job in a better way due to the thought of a reward because this (anticipation) is so controlling that it might eventually conquer you completely. So, none of you should look forward to death. Hence, do your duties as a real servant of Allah" [Sahih al-Bukhari 6092]. Through this Hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us to maintain sincerity in our deeds, without anticipating any worldly rewards, and to stay positive while doing so.

Islamic teachings also push believers to actively participate in the betterment of society and promoting positive change. The Prophet (peace be upon him) worked tirelessly throughout his life for the same. Allah also encourages the believers to engage in good deeds and work towards creating a just society. Allah says in the Quran, "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. Follow not [your] desires, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted" (4:135). This verse highlights the importance of justice even if it goes against one’s own interest and showcases the significance of positive change.

Therefore, Islam encourages Muslims to have joy and contentment in their lives, while actively striving towards making a positive impact on the community. This approach helps to motivate individuals and communities towards working towards a better world, guided by the principles of faith and positivity.
