Here are some thoughts from Islam perspective 🏵️🏵️👇

Islam does not have a specific stance on women in the tech industry or any other industry. Islam teaches the value of education, knowledge, and skills, regardless of gender. Muslim women have played significant roles in various fields, including technology and science since the early years of Islam.

Islam teaches gender equality and respect for all individuals, regardless of gender. In Islam, men and women have equal rights and are encouraged to work together for the betterment of society. The Prophet Muhammad's wife, Khadijah, was a successful businesswoman who supported the early development of Islam by funding Muhammad's teachings.

Islamic teachings emphasize the importance of meritocracy and competency over gender or any other personal characteristics. Therefore, Muslim men and women are encouraged to pursue education, knowledge, and skills in any field they desire, including the tech industry.

In Islam, the relationship between men and women inside work should be based on respect, professionalism, and modesty. The following are some Quranic verses and Hadiths (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him) that emphasize the importance of maintaining a healthy and respectful relationship between men and women in the workplace:

1. "O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." (Quran 33:59)

This verse highlights the importance of women covering their bodies and observing modesty in front of men to avoid any unwanted attention and abuse.

2. "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and should be courteous and kind to his guest, and should speak good or remain silent." (Hadith in Sahih Bukhari)

This Hadith emphasizes the importance of being courteous and kind to others, including coworkers, regardless of their gender.

3. "The best of you are those who are best to their wives." (Hadith in Sunan Ibn Majah)

This Hadith highlights the importance of treating wives with kindness and respect, which can also be applied to how men should treat their female coworkers.

4. "A believer must not hate (his wife) believing woman; if he dislikes one of her traits, he will be pleased with another." (Hadith in Sahih Muslim)

Similar to the previous Hadith, this Hadith emphasizes the importance of respecting and accepting the differences and traits of others, including female coworkers.

In conclusion, Islam encourages men and women to work professionally in a respectful and dignified environment based on mutual respect, merit, competency, and performance.
Muslims are expected to abide by the principles of modesty, respectfulness, and professionalism, which are guided by Islamic values and ethics. ⏭️⏩
