Here are some thoughts from Islam perspective 🏵️🏵️👇

In the Quran, Allah (SWT) reminds us of the importance of constructing buildings and cities with a compassionate approach that serves everyone's needs, not only the wealthy elite. Surah Al-Hujuraat, verse 13 says, "O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." This verse emphasizes the importance of creating communities that promote equality, justice, and harmony.

Furthermore, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) continuously reminded his followers to be mindful of their environment and the impact of their actions on others. In one Hadith, he said, "The world is green and beautiful, and Allah has appointed you as His stewards over it. He sees how you acquit yourselves." This emphasizes the importance of treating our physical surroundings with care and compassion.

However, in today's world, many structures are built without urgency for people's basic needs, and without concern for their environmental impact. But as humans, we must consider the implications of our actions not only for the present but for generations to come.

Building structures that prioritize a humane approach should be at the forefront of architecture today. Here are some innovative ideas that prioritize the needs and well-being of all people:

1. Affordable, sustainable housing - With the rise of urban populations, affordable housing that caters to people's basic needs is essential. Designs that prioritize sustainable materials, energy-efficient technology, and comfortable living spaces can make a world of difference for those in need.

2. Community spaces - Community spaces that are accessible and inviting to everyone can foster a sense of belonging and promote community harmony. Public parks, community gardens, and marketplaces can encourage us to interact more with our neighbors, helping us to develop stronger bonds and create a more caring and connected society.

3. Addresses Climate Change - With climate change becoming an increasingly pressing concern, it's important that architecture designs prioritize sustainability. Incorporating green technology like solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and vertical farming can help to decrease the environmental impact of structures and promote sustainable living. ⏭️⏭️
