From an Islamic perspective, the potential rise of writers and content creators in the future, can be seen as a positive development. In Islam, knowledge and education are highly valued, as evidenced by the following verses from the Quran: 🏵️🏵️🏵️
- "Read! Your Lord is the Most Bounteous, Who taught (the writing) by the pen, taught man that which he knew not." (Quran 96:1-5)
- "Allah will exalt those who believe among you, and those who have knowledge, to high ranks." (Quran 58:11)
The use of technology to facilitate the creation and dissemination of knowledge is also encouraged in Islam.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
- "Whoever travels on a road in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the way to Paradise." (Sahih Bukhari)
However, it's also important to note that the content created by writers should adhere to values and principles.
The Quran emphasizes the importance of speaking truthfully and avoiding falsehood, slander, and backbiting.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
- "Verily, Allah has prescribed truthfulness (in everything), and has forbidden falsehood. So whoever fulfills his promise, fulfills his promise to Allah; and whoever commits treachery, commits treachery only against himself; and whoever speaks truthfully, speaks truthfully on behalf of Allah; and whoever speaks falsehood, speaks falsehood on behalf of himself; and whoever conceals what he should make public, conceals it only against himself; and whoever reveals what he should conceal, reveals it only against himself." (Sahih Bukhari)
- "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak a word of justice or remain silent." (Sahih Muslim)
Writers should strive to produce content that is accurate, honest, and beneficial to society.
They should use their platform to promote justice, equality, and compassion in society.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
- "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should be generous; let him practice generosity nearer to him (i.e., his own family), and do not say 'O woe unto me!', it is said: 'O woe unto you!', but say 'O peace unto me!', it is said: 'O peace unto you!'" (Sahih Bukhari)
- "Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: 'He who calls others to guidance by giving them advice in a pleasant manner will have a reward like that of one who follows it (the advice), without their rewards being diminished in any way.'" (Sahih Muslim)
