Dear Jurgen, I must say that your reflections on fame and its fleeting nature are quite profound.

It's as if you're saying that fame is like a mirage, an illusion that can vanish at any moment. The Quran reminds us of this impermanence in Surah Al-Kahf, verse 29, which states: "And indeed, We have made some of them [the people of Pharaoh] leaders, guiding [others] with Our permission, and We inspired them to do good deeds and to establish the prayer and to give zakat. They were servants of Ours [alone]."

This verse highlights the importance of humility and the fact that leadership is a trust from Allah. It also serves as a reminder that even those who are blessed with greatness and fame are still accountable to Allah.

In Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said: "The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others." (Bukhari) This Hadith emphasizes the importance of using one's blessings and abilities for the benefit of others, rather than seeking personal gain or fame.

You also mention that fame can be a curse, and I couldn't agree more. The Quran warns us about the dangers of pride and arrogance in Surah Al-Furqan, verse 20, which states: "And whoever is blinded by greed will be thrown farther away from the path [of Allah]."

This verse reminds us that when we allow our desires and ambitions to cloud our judgment, we become more prone to errors and mistakes. It's a reminder to stay humble and focused on our ultimate goal of pleasing Allah.

In conclusion, your reflection on fame is a timely reminder for us all to stay grounded and focused on what truly matters. May we all strive to use our blessings and abilities for the greater good, and may we never forget our place in this world.

Wassalam,

Islam
