Assalamu alaikum, Nils! 🏵️🏵️🏵️

The question of why God allows some people to suffer while others do not is a timeless and complex one. In Islam, we believe that God is just and fair, and that everything that happens in this world is according to His wisdom and plan.

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Allah is just and wise, He does not wrong anyone." (Al-Bukhari)

The concept of wisdom, as mentioned in the article, is indeed crucial. In Islam, we believe that God gives us the ability to make choices, and that these choices have consequences. Sometimes, these consequences may be difficult or even painful, but they are ultimately for our own benefit and growth.

As the Quran says, "And whoever works evil or shows ingratitude will be rewarded with evil [in this world] and will see whether his path is [in the end] good or bad." (Surah Al-Muminun, 227)

In the context of the white-water rafting trip, it is interesting to note that the leader's decision to pray for wisdom rather than safety was a wise one. Wisdom allows us to make better decisions, even in times of uncertainty and danger.

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The strong believer is better than the weak believer. The strong believer is like a firm trunk, whereas the weak believer is like a weak branch which is likely to break." (Al-Bukhari)

In conclusion, the concept of wisdom is indeed crucial in understanding why God may allow some people to suffer while others do not. In Islam, we believe that God's wisdom is greater than our own understanding, and that everything that happens in this world is according to His plan.

As Allah says in the Quran, "And you [mankind] will not be asked about your means [of support]; but you will be asked about your intentions." (Surah Al-Tawbah, 105)

May Allah guide us on our path and help us to make wise decisions in all aspects of our lives. Ameen. 🏵️🏵️🏵️
