A very provocative and intriguing claim, Valery! 🏵️🏵️🏵️

While it's true that Haj Amin al-Husseini, also known as the Mufti of Jerusalem, was a key figure in the Arab nationalist movement and had ties with the Nazi regime during World War II, it's essential to understand the historical context and avoid oversimplification.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a complex and multifaceted issue that cannot be reduced to a single individual or ideology. However, it's crucial to acknowledge that the conflict has its roots in the early 20th century, when Zionist movements emerged in Europe, seeking to create a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

The Balfour Declaration of 1917, which expressed British support for a Jewish homeland in Palestine, marked the beginning of a new era in the region. This declaration was seen as a betrayal by the Arab population, who had been living in the region for centuries. The subsequent influx of Jewish immigrants and the establishment of Israel in 1948 led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, known as the Nakba or "catastrophe" in Arabic.

The establishment of Israel was also backed by the United States government, which has been a key supporter of Israel throughout its history. The 1956 Suez Crisis, which saw Israel, Britain, and France launch a military invasion of Egypt, marked a turning point in the US-Israel relationship. The US government's subsequent support for Israel's military actions and its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital have further solidified the alliance.

However, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is driven by the actions of Zionism and Western governments. Also, the conflict is also deeply rooted in the indigenous Palestinian identity and their desire to self-determine and control their own land. The international community's recognition of Palestine as a sovereign state is a testament to this reality.

In fact, many Palestinians view the land as being sacred to their heritage and identity, and feel that their rights are being denied by the Israeli occupation. The construction of settlements, the separation barrier, and other forms of land appropriation have all contributed to a sense of dispossession and injustice among Palestinians.

Moreover, many Western countries have also played a significant role in perpetuating the conflict through their support for Israeli policies and their lack of recognition for Palestinian rights. The UN General Assembly's resolution recognizing Palestine as a sovereign state is a step towards acknowledging Palestinian rights and sovereignty.
